Key Features |
Functionality as found on a regular dictating machine
Operations in VoiceNotes borrows much from those used to from ordinary dictating machines. Hence learning to tackle operating-elements is obsolete, making it an intuitively manageable tool. All usual operating elements such as: Recording, Playback, Pause, Fast-Foreward/Backward, Skip-Foreward/Backward as well as a detailed status-display area are also supported
Bookmarks
With the powerful bookmarking function incorporated into VoiceNotes, it will be a breeze for you to place a bookmark while recording and later on, directly leap to it. Bookmarks are changeable, even after a recording has been made, for instance, to rename or change their position in the recording, later on. This can be especially useful for very long recordings (e.g. meetings).
Commenting a recording
With VoiceNotes you will be allowed to attach comments of any length to a recording. Directly linking supplementary information with the recording, without the need for them to be stored in a file "somewhere" else. A quite effective supplement if you are working with voice recordings, "professionally"!
Recording list
With the recording list all present recordings can be viewed in one of two modes: a) the file-mode, which borrows much from the integrated File-Explorer, and
b) an overview-mode presenting all recordings in a multi-column fashion.
Searching
VoiceNotes is equipped with extensive search capabilities, offering three confining search-criteria. Besides seeking for that particular filename, incorporating an attached comment or even a bookmark into the same search is similarly feasible.
File formats
VoiceNotes supports the Wave audio-format in several differing levels of quality. Giving you the choice to determine the best or most appropriate level of quality for your recording taken in particular surroundings or on storage capacity available. The Wave audio-format makes it especially easy to directly export and use your recordings on a Desktop PC.
